Durga Puja Special Assembly
To usher in the spirit of the upcoming Durga Puja, Delhi Public School, Durgapur celebrated Durga Puja Assembly on 28th September, 2022, Wednesday in the school premises. The event went live on the official Facebook page of the school. The ambience of the auspicious day was set with the lighting of the lamp by honourable Principal, Shri Umesh Ch.Jaiswal and the Chief Guest from Vivekananda Bhav Samaj of Durgapur, an old age home that helps the elderly people of the society.
The beautifully co-ordinated assembly saw the young students, dressed in traditional clothes, playing the tune of welcome Song which was followed by an impeccable dance drama on ‘Agomoni’ of Devi Durga. The Social Service and Interact Club of Delhi Public School, Durgapur donated the contributions made by the students to Child Help Foundation, CINI and Help Age India.
