Investiture Ceremony of Students Council
‘A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be.’
Delhi Public School Durgapur conducted the Investiture Ceremony 2021-22 to foster the making of great leaders by electing the newly invested Students Council.
Donning the mantle of leadership, the newly invested office bearers committed themselves to fulfill the duties and responsibilities, maintaining the dignity and decorum of the school.
The solemn event started with the welcome song by the school choir followed by a dance performance on Tagore’s song.
Rejuvenated by the motivating words of Principal Sir, the Senior and Junior Council members took the Oath of office, solemnly affirming to dispense their duties with dignity and to raise the school banner high. The speeches of the Head Boy and the Head Girl were a source of inspiration to all the young leaders of Ganga, Kaveri, Chenab and Teesta House.
The solemn occasion ended on a powerful note with resolution and determination in the hearts of the aspiring leaders!
